RAMBAN, Mar 25: District Information Centre, Ramban today organised a Quiz Competition at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School here.
Deputy Registrar Cooperative Department Ramban, Ikar Giri was the chief guest on the occasion and Principal of the School presided over the function.
First prize was awarded to the team of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School (BVMHS) while the second and third prizes were clinched by Girls High School Parnote and Chenab English Medium High School Ramban respectively. In another event Inderjeet a students of BVMHS clinched first position in painting competition.
Speaking on the occasion, chief guest appreciated the role of Information Department in providing a platform to the students and motive them to participate in extra-curricular activities which would boost their confidence and help to face the competition.
Principal of the School, Pardeep Singh thanked the Information Department for organising such events to promote the talent of students.
A colourful cultural programme was also presented by the DIC Ramban.
Later commendation certificates and consolation prizes were also distributed among the participants.
