JAMMU, Oct 31: District Institute of Education & Training (DIET) Poonch organized District Level Social Science Quiz Competition in the premises of Govt Girls Higher Secondary School Sheesh Mahal, today.
Lal Hussain, CEO-cum-Principal DIET Poonch was the chief guest on the occasion.
The main aim to organize this competition was to bring out the potential of students pertaining to this subject.
Teams which secured first position at Tehsil level competition participated in this District Level Competition.
Azrar Hussain, HoD and Muzaffar Hussain, Lecturer acted as anchors while Puneet Sehgal, Master acted as the scorer.
The programme was organized by CMDE wing under the guidance of Nagesh Arya, HoD.
Speaking on the occasion, Lal Hussain, CEO Poonch advised the students to take part in the competitions so that they can prepare themselves with the changing word.
The team of GHS Ari secured 1st position, while GHSS Surankote got 2nd and HS Purani Poonch claimed 3rd.
Prominent among others, who were present on the occasion included MTR Anjum Shaheen, Vice Principal, Iftkhar Hussain Shah, Shabi-Ul-Hassan, Safeer Hussain Shah and Haroon Rashid.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Romesh Sharma, Sr Lecturer DIET Poonch.
