DIET organizes training programme on ‘educational planning & stress mgmt’

UDHAMPUR, Jan 21: District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Kud organized a 5-day training programme for the Principals and Headmasters under RMSA at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, here.
Seventy four Principals and Headmasters from all the 11 zones are participating in the event, which is being organized under the overall supervision of Sunil Sharma, Course Coordinator of the programme.
Ved Parkash Sharma, District Education and Planning Officer, Vidya Sagar Sharma, retired Accounts Officer, Shifali Bahadur, Lecturer and Dr KC Sharma delivered lectures in the programme on various topics including “Relationship between Head of the Institution, Staff and Students, Leave Rules, Educational Planning and Stress Management etc.”
Meanwhile, District Level Quiz Competition in Science and Mathematics was also organised by DIET Kud at Happy Model Higher Secondary School, Udhampur, wherein 17 teams in each subject participated.
In Science Quiz, Happy Model School claimed 1st place, while the second place was jointly bagged by GHS Jaganoo and GHSS Ramnagar and the third place went to GHS Kawa and AOC HS Udhampur.
In Mathematics Quiz, Braham Rishi Bawbra SV Peeth Udhampur bagged first place, GHSS Jaganoo claimed second place, while the third place went to GHS Dehari. The winners have been selected for forthcoming Divisional Level Quiz Competition to be held in Jammu.
The Quiz programme was organised by Sarita Rani, Shashi Prabha, Vijay Tashav, Rohit Kumar, Neetu Sharma and Ashwani Kumar.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Principals Munish Gulati and Vikram Gulati.
