DIET Reasi organizes ‘Role Play’ Competition

JAMMU, Oct 10: A district level ‘Role Play’ Competition was organized today at DIET Reasi.
Chief Medical Officer, Reasi, Dr Parminder Singh, was the chief guest on the occasion while principal, DIET, Reasi, Darshan Lal, presided over the function.
The event was sponsored by J&K State Board of School Education (JKBOSE), Jammu. The themes chosen for role playing were healthy relationship among adolescents, charms and challenges of adolescence, HIV/AIDS stigmatization and causes and impact of drug abuse.
The main objective of the Role Play Competition was to build-up awareness and sensitize the students about the various stresses and challenges faced by the adolescents. Sixty-five students from six zones of the district Reasi participated in the competition.
Students of Government Higher Secondary School (Boys), Reasi, bagged the 1st prize while the 2nd prize was claimed by Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Reasi. The 3rd prize went to Government Girls High School, Pouni.
CMO, Dr Parminder Singh, Headmaster, Romail Singh and Master DIET, Reasi, M Akram Khan were the jury members.
The chief guest awarded the winners of the competition with prizes.
The programme was managed by Virender Dutta and Akram Khan while the proceedings were conducted by Kalp Lata.
