DIG reviews security arrangements of ongoing Railway project

RAMBAN, Aug 31: DIG DKR Range Abdul Jabbar accompanied by Additional SP Ramban Sanjay Parihar visited Sangaldaan in Sub Division Gool.
DIG held an interaction with local people belonging to various villages of the area and listened to various demands including upgradation of PP Sangaldan into a Police Station and people centric CSR activities by companies executing railway projects in the area.
He assured the public for redressal of genuine grievances. Underlining the importance of the railway project, he directed the officials to sternly deal with miscreants indulging in creating hindrances in the works related to the projects.
DIG held a meeting with Railway authorities and representatives of various private companies engaged in the Railways construction work to take feedback of the security related issues faced by them. Based on the feedbacks so received, set of suitable directions were issued to the territorial officers.
All the protocols regarding COVID-19 mitigation like social distancing, use of masks and sanitizers were scrupulously adhered to during both the meetings.
