JAMMU, May 16: Range Police Jammu in order to improve police public relations and to know the welfare of the old aged persons organized a get-together function in Old Age Home Amphalla.
DIG Jammu Shakeel Beig interacted with the elderly persons and knew about their welfare measures.
Beig was accompanied by Rajnish Pran SP, SO to DIG Jammu, Shiv Kumar Singh Chouhan SP City North, Randhir Singh SP Headquarters, Sunita Kargotra Chief Prosecuting Officer, Range Police Headquarters Jammu, Parbeet Singh SDPO City and others.
Beig alongwith other police served the refreshment to the inmates. Beig after interacting with the inmates of the Old Age Home said that we all must respect our parents, so that our own children get a strong message that parents deserve highest degree of respect especially during old age period, otherwise they are bound to get same treatment from their children in the old age.
Beig assured the elderly of all possible assistance from Police Department to mitigate their problems.
