JAMMU, Sept 20: Director Rajya Sainik Board (RSB) Brig ( Retd) Harchanran Singh and Zila Sainik Welfare Officer (ZSWO) Jammu, Col ( Retd) JDS Kotwal visited Bishnah today and attended the problems/ issues of ex-servicemen, war widows and their families of the area.
The officers apprised the gathering about the revised schemes launched by Govt for their welfare. They educated them about increase in the rates of one time incentive for the Board exams, enhancement of daughter’s marriage grant to Rs 50,000; on line submission of education grant; penury grant for over 65 years and PM Scholarship; requirement of linking Aadhar Card with pension accounts; increase in world war and Militia Relief Fund. Brig Kotwal interacted with people gathered there and resolved their many problems on the spot.
