Director Police Academy promotes 32 police personnel

UDHAMPUR, Aug 21: Director Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy (SKPA) Dr SD Singh today granted insitu promotion to 32 police personnel of Police Academy Udhampur, who have completed more than 9 years service in one rank and also having unblemished service records.
The promotees include 15 Selection Grade Constables (SgCt), 1 constable, 7 Followers and 9 Helpers.
The promotees are SgCt Mohinder Kumar, SgCt Kuldeep Singh, SgCt Subash Chander, SgCt Manohar Lal, SgCt Suresh Kumar, SgCt Madan Lal, SgCt Narinder Singh, SgCt Gian Chand, SgCt Parmod Sharma, SgCt Babu Ram, SgCt Jugal Kishore, SgCt Zaid Hussain Shah, SgCt Hardev Chand, SgCt Ghulam Sarwar, Constable Balwant Singh, Follower Mohammad Rafiq, Follower Vinod Kumar, Follower Ashok Kumar, Follower Shiv Ram, Follower Abdul Rashid, Follower Tariq Hussain, Follower Bodh Raj, Helper Mohammad Younis, Helper Perbath Singh, Helper Jiju Ram, Helper Joginder Singh, Helper Mohammad Iqbal, Helper Jagdish Kumar, Helper Munshi Ram, Helper Puran Chand and Helper Jagdish Singh.
Earlier, Director Police Academy constituted Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) under his chairmanship, which includes Mohan Lal, SSP Asstistant Director (Outdoors), Kamal Shama Chief Prosecuting Officer, Ramesh Chander Kataria Administrative Officer and Inspector (Pers) Shamim Ahmed as member of the DPC, which assembled today and examined the service records of these police personnel.
Dr Singh congratulated all the beneficiaries and advised them to work hard with dedication and devotion to earn more service benefits.
