JAMMU, Jan 20: Director Tourism, O.P Bhagat flagged off Heritage Bike rally from Sidhra Golf Course here today.
Deep Raj, RTO Jammu; Hitesh Gupta, Secretary Sidhra Golf Course; Umesh Shan, AD and Rahul Sharma, AO Directorate of Tourism were also present.
The rally was organized to celebrate the rich heritage of Jammu region. Over 150 bikers including bikers from Punjab participated in the rally. The bikers riding on an array of bikes thronged the internationally recognized wetlands of Surinsar and Mansar lakes.
The bikers halted at Mahoregarh fort which displays Mughal architecture.
The bike rally also covered the Temple complexes of Purmandal and Utterbehni situated on the banks of Holy Devika.
The Rally was attended by bikers from Bikers Brotherhood India, The Bull Riders Cafe, Himalayan Bulls, Iron Hawks, Metal Horse Riders Club, Kathua Riders and Travel Tales India.
Preeti Choudhary, Ajita Sharma and Shiwali also displayed their biking skills.
The event was organised under Mansar Sunday Series to involve youth in adventure activities.
