Disclosing one’s movable and immovable properties on prescribed formats for all categories of the Government employees barring the low in come groups and subordinate cadre should not only be made compulsory but implemented very strictly too. This step shall prove a deterrent to acts of corrupt practices indulged in by those who employ dishonest means to better their status and comforts. This step shall discourage corruption and scams to a large extent and frustrate attempts to purchase properties and other assets in assumed names. Integrity of the Heads of departments, officers, authorities, and those holding important posts must be transparent and above any suspicion, hence it should be made incumbent on such employees in Government , semi government, autonomous bodies excepting the subordinate staff to disclose in the duly prescribed formats details about the assets owned and liabilities held each year.
