This is to bring in the notice of the concerned authorities that National Highway Authority of India (NHIA) is charging toll tax at Ban Nagrota as per the registration of vehicle, and not as per class of vehicle. It charges Rs 75 for vehicles having Udhampur registration number, and Rs 35 for vehicles with Jammu registration number. This is discriminatory in nature and an injustice with Udhampur people.
It is expected that the Government would look into the matter, and would remove the disparity.
