JAMMU, Sept 20: The 3-day long hectic exercise that took place in Government MAM College Jammu, to bring out the hidden talent of the students in Inter-Collegiate and departmental competition under the “Display your Talent 2013-14” conducted by the University of Jammu, came to an end today.
In the concluding session, Principal, Dr Ramesh Chander, presided over the celebration. He aluded the students for their whole-hearted participation saying that participation was more important than winning.
Prof Kiran Raina, convenor of theis mega event briefed the faculty and students regarding the activities to be held under the aegis. She declared the final list of the selected students in poetry recitation, debat, quiz, extempore, short story, essay writing, rangoli, sketching, cartooning and poster-making.
The students who were selected include Anchal Singh, ajay Bhagat, Karan Gupta, Hemant Dogra, Muneer Husain, Priyanka Goswami, Arun Singh and others.
Prof Renu Nanda, Prof Jozfen Afzal, Prof Nalini Pathania, Prof Liaquat Jaffri and Prof MK Mussa were judges for these events.
