JAMMU, May 16: Distribution of ration and essential items among the needy persons continued here today.
Gandhi Global Family J&K organized 24th relief camp at Nandani, Jammu Rural. 45 local needy families were identified by Sarpanch Kuldeep Kumar Sharma Panchayat Janakha, Tehsil Dansal, Jammu. The food package including dry ration and masks were distributed in presence of GGF President J&K Padmashri Dr S P Varma. Dr Pawan Jeet Kour, Company Commandant Nandani Pankaj Kumar, Er K K Mattoo GGF Advisor and former Chief Engineer PWD J&K Government, Dinesh Gupta Former Regional Secretary Red Cross Jammu, Jaswinder Singh Kuku GGF Advisor Jammu City, Ravinder Singh GGF Jammu Advisor and former Director Education J&K, Ragav Changotra, Amit Dubey and Ankush Varma distributed the relief material.
Ration kits were distributed by District Vice President Congress Nisha Sharma at Gangyal area of Jammu
166 Battalion CRPF distributed dry ration to migrant families from MP, Bihar and Chattisgarh residing in Chhanni Himmat and Sainik Colony areas in Jammu.
Beopar Mandal Udhampur distributed dry ration in Urlli village near Mohaya Mata in Panchayat Battal. Sarpanch, Naib Sarpanch and office bearers of Beopar Mandal Udhampur were present on the occasion.
BJP OBC Morcha distributed ration and face covers in Ward Number 6, Purkhoo Camp of Raipur Domana constituency. Braham Jyot Satti BJP President OBC Morcha Jammu and Kashmir, Shamsher Kumar Prajapati BJP District President Jammu-Rural, Neelam Virdhi Vice President BJP OBC Morcha, Ravi Verma UT General Secretary BJP OBC Morcha, Sunil Kumar UT Publicity Secretary, Lucky Verma UT Executive Member and many others were present on the occasion.
