POONCH, Oct 28: To give fillip to sports and games in Poonch and adjoining areas, the District Administration Poonch organized Marathon and Volleyball matches, under SVEEP Programme at Sports Stadium, here.
An exhibition match was played between Pinto Club and Gujjar Hostel Poonch. The match was won by Pinto Club by (2-1) sets.
Similarly, a Marathon was also organized from DDC Office Poonch to Sports Stadium Poonch.
Students of different schools participated in large numbers in these events.
The Volleyball matches were conducted under the technical supervision of Nirdosh Kumar, Manager Sports Stadium Poonch and Narjeet Singh, Zonal Physical Education Officer.
