ANANTNAG, Mar 23: The Anantnag Ball Badminton Championship, organized by the Anantnag Ball Badminton Association in collaboration with the J&K Ball Badminton Association under the banner of the J&K Sports Council, concluded at High School Batangoo.
The two-day championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from 12 teams competing in both the boys’ and girls’ sections, highlighting the growing interest and talent in ball badminton within the region.
Rameez Khanday (Whiz Kids School Anantnag) was the chief guest and Bashir Ahmad (Manager, Sports Stadium Anantnag) was the guest of honour. District Secretary Saahil, Organizing Secretary Adil Batangoo, several coaches and officials were also present.
Adil Batangoo, the organizing secretary, whose commitment and meticulous planning ensured a smooth and well-managed tournament, played a key role in providing young players with a competitive platform to showcase their skills. His efforts, along with the support of the Anantnag Ball Badminton Association, were instrumental in the success of the event.
