JAMMU, Nov 13: District Ananatnag Table Tennis Championship got underway at JNV, Anantnag, today.
Sub junior and junior category matches were played today. In sub junior category, Afaq drubbed Shabir by (11-4, 11-7, 11-6), Hilal got beter of Khalid by (2-11, 11-6, 11-4, 11-8) and Riyaz trounced Rashid by (11-3, 11-5, 11-7), while in junior category, Willayat outplayed Firdous by (11-3, 11-5, 6-11, 11-3) and Nabeel prevailed over Zubair by (11-4, 11-4, 11-6). The finals in all age groups will be held tomorrow at the same venue.
