anantnag, Oct 29: District Anantnag Wrestling Championship concluded at Sports stadium Anantnag, today.
The championship was organized by District Anantnag Wrestling Association, under the banner of JKWA and was sponsored by State Sports Council Srinagar.
Thirty two participants of different weight categories participated in the day-long event.
Arfat Hussain, DySP Operations Anantnag was the chief guest on the closing ceremony of the Championship who distributed Prizes, medals and certificates to the participating wrestlers and asked them to stay healthy by involving themselves in games and sports like wrestling which is the oldest indigenous sport of human civilization.
The event was organized under the overall supervision of Rakesh Khajuria, General Secretary JKWA.
