REASI, Feb 17: A day long District Reasi Archery Championship concluded at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Stadium Katra, wherein archers from different Schools participated in the championship, here today.
Sunil Sharma CEO was the chief guest of the opening ceremony, while Rajesh Sharma Nodal Officer was the chief guest of the closing ceremony, who gave medals and certificates to the winners and participants.
The championship was organized by District Archery Association under the aegis of J&K Sports Council and J&K Olympic Association. Kuldeep, coach from the Shrine Board was the official in the said championship.
In senior compound boys, Gold medal was won by Ankush, while silver medal was secured by Karun Bharti, whereas in junior compound boys category, Ankush won gold medal and in senior recurve boys, top three medals were secured by Vishal, Sunny and Atul respectively, besides in junior recurve boys, first three medals were clinched by Vishal, Sunny and Mohit respectively.
In senior recurve girls, Shikha, Radhika and Smilee won top three medals respectively, while in sub junior recurve boys, gold and silver medals were clinched by Brishav and Krishna respectively and in sub junior recurve girls, gold medal was won by Sakshi.
In senior Indian round boys, top three medals were clinched by Divyansh, Pariv and Bhawani, while in sub junior Indian boys, gold, silver and bronze were won by Bhawani, Pranaam and Naksham respectively and in senior girl Indian round, Romica won gold medal, while in junior girls, gold and silver were secured by Romica and Soniya respectively.
