SRINAGAR Nov 8: defeating District Shopian by two goals to nil (2-0) in the summit clash, District Baramulla lifted the title trophy in Inter-District Under-14 Boys Volleyball Tournament, which concluded, here this evening.
The tournament in which various teams drawn from different districts of the Kashmir division participated was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, here.
Earlier, in the final, Baramullah defeated Shopian by 2-0 goals in an easy contest. Rizwan was the star performer, displaying superb soccer skills to help his team win. Rayess Ahmed (NIS) was the coach of the winning team.
Later-on, prizes were distributed among the winner and runners-up teams. All the participating players were given certificates and consolation prizes.
