UDHAMPUR, June 14: District body of All J& K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum for Udhampur was announced today by the newly elected district president Ashok Sharma.
Pawan Abrol was nominated as district general secretary, Abhinav Gupta and Rajinder Kumar as vice president, Veena Rani and Anju Bala as female vice presidents, Ram Murti as cashier and Virender Gupta as chief organizer. Kasturi Lal and Kamlesh Rani have been made the spokespersons while Amrit Lal Bhim Sen, Ritika and Rashpal Singh are the joint secretaries. Madan Lal, Ravi Kanchan and Rajinder Gupta have been nominated as organizing secretary, Publicity Secretary and Office Secretary respectively. Bishan Sharma Shiv Dev Singh, Surinder Kumar, B L Katoch and Rakesh Gupta have been nominated as Tehsil Heads of respective tehsils.
A Grievance Redressal unit was also established with S Jaspal Singh as convener. Five – member district Working Committee has also been constituted with Jagdish Verma, Bal Krishan Charak, Baldev Raj, Joginder Gupta and Sunita Sharma as members. Tarsem Singh, Vijay Kumar and Philips John have been nominated as members of the provincial body from Udhampur.
The members of the newly constituted body were administered the oath at a simple but impressive function, in which Bishan Singh, Chief Education Officer Udhampur was the chief guest while Principals, HoDs and other members of the Plus 2 cadre from across the district Udhampur were present on the occasion. Kiranjeet Kaur, provincial president, Anil Sharma vice president, Pardeep Singh district president Jammu, were also present.
