BUDGAM, Nov 28: The 2-Day District Budgam Rugby 7’s Championship 2016, concluded at Government Degree College, Beerwah, here today.
18 teams from all over the district took part in the Championship. The winners and runners-up teams got berth in the State Championship which will be held at Bakshi Stadium Srinagar in the month of December, 2016.
On the Closing ceremony, Principal of the Degree College was the chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners on the occasion.
Mohammad Younis, Organizing Secretary of the Championship said that the winners and runners-up teams will perform better in the coming State Championship.
The Championship was organized by District Budgam Rugby Association under the aegis of J&K Rugby Association and under the supervision of J&K Sports Council.
