SRINAGAR, July 24: District Budgam Squash Championship 2023 was declared open by Asif Bashir, President J&K Squash Rackets Association at J&K Sports Council Squash Complex, Gindun Stadium here today.
The Championship is being organized by District Budgam Squash Rackets Association under the aegis of J&K Squash Rackets Association and is being sponsored by Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council.
Asif Bashir assured them of all the facilities. He extended his thanks to J&K Sports Council especially its Secretary, Nuzhat Gull for her sincere efforts in promotion and development of sports and games in Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. Players from different Clubs and Schools of Budgam district are taking part in different categories. The Championship will conclude on July 25. According to the General Secretary of J&K Squash Rackets Association, 28 matches in boys and 24 matches in girls section will be played in U-15, U-17, U-19 and senior categories.
