UDHAMPUR, Feb 26: Two day District Cycling Championship, organized by District Cycling Association under the aegis of CFI and J&K Sports Council, concluded at Government Degree College, here today.
A total of 60 cyclists participated in the competition in various age groups. Selected cyclists will participate in the UT level championship which is scheduled to be held in the month of March.
The chief guest on the occasion was Advocate Sanjeet Balovria, while guest of honour was Sanjay Sharma from J&K Sports Council. The championship was organized under the supervision of Ravinder Singh, president CAJK, SS Gill, general secretary and other office bearers of the Association.
In Under-18 junior boys, Ayush, Mohit and Mohit won top three positions respectively, while in Under-16 sub-junior boys, Arindham, Shraman and Shriyansh stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively and in Under-14 youth boys, the top three places were secured by Sarvagya, Manik and Mohd Shahid, respectively, besides in Under-12, Ragav, Mohd Sabeer and Ashvik stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.
