JAMMU, Aug 11: District Jammu emerged overall winner in the Inter District Division Level Table Tennis Championship, organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports, here today.
In under-14 boys and girls, district Jammu clinched titles, while in under-19 category, district Poonch emerge winner and in under-17 boys and girls, district Jammu bagged title trophies.
In all, 90 players drawn from 6 districts of Jammu division took part in the said tournament.
Later, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Jammu Chanchal Kour distributed winners and runner-up trophies.
While addressing the participants, she said that the selected players should remain in touch with the game for yielding better results for the next level of competitions.
Besides, coaches managers and the players present on the occasion were Sher Singh, ZPEO Akhnoor and Veena Tikoo, ZPEO Marh.
Final Results:
In under-14 boys, district Jammu thrashed district Poonch, while in girls category, district Jammu registered win over district Poonch.
In under-17 boys, district Poonch crushed district Udhampur and emerged winner, while in girls category, district Jammu registered win over district Udhampur.
In under-19 boys, district Jammu trounced district Poonch and emerged winner, while in girls category, district Jammu routed district Udhampur.
