JAMMU, Oct 29: Fifth District Jammu Kickboxing Championship, organized by District Kickboxing Association under the aegis of Kickboxing Association J&K, concluded with the holding of valedictory function at Indoor Hall Bhagwati Nagar, here today.
Shiksha Niketan School Jeevan Nagar bagged the overall trophy during the championship, while RM Public School claimed 2nd place and 3rd position was bagged by Jammu Sanskriti School considering the medals won in different age groups.
Around 350 players from various schools, clubs and colleges participated in this event.
At the closing ceremony, Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation, Rajinder Sharma was the chief guest who presented medals to the winners in presence of special guest Ajay Verma, District president Kickboxing Association.
Gorav Chopra Councillor Jammu Municipal Corporation and vice president Kickboxing Association and Abhishek Jain general secretary were present during the event and they complimented the District unit general secretary Danish Padha and Deepanshu Gupta, organizing secretary and their team members for making the championship a successful event
