JAMMU, Feb 13: District Police Bandipora organised hunt for talent programme ‘Chhoona Hai Aasman’ at DPL Bandipora under the banner of Civic Action Programme in a bid to provide platform to the budding youth to explore their Singing/Dancing talents.
Youth from various parts of district Bandipora participated in the Event. The 10 participants whose performances were adjudged excellent by the jury as Ist, 2nd and 3rd were awarded cash prizes to the tune of Rs1000, Rs 700 and Rs 500 respectively. The participants were also awarded certificate of participation by SSP Bandipora.
The event was witnessed by Mohammed Shabir SSP Bandipora, Mohammed Yousif, ASP Bandipora, DySP Hqr, DySP DAR and other civil and CRPF officers.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Bandipora said that Jammu and Kashmir Police is putting all its efforts to provide platform to the youth so that their hidden talent could be explored/channelised in a right direction for the overall welfare and betterment of society.
