MENDHAR, Nov 30: Defeating Pulwama-A team by (3-0) sets in the first semifinals, District Police team Poonch entered the finals, while the second semifinal between Shaheed Manjeet Singh Memorial Volleyball Club (SMSMVC) and Pulwama-B team was forced to be replayed tomorrow, because of the dispute occurring in the match today.
The Inter-District Volleyball Tournament is being organized by Romeo Force at OP Hill Stadium, Mendhar.
Earlier, in the first semifinals, District Police Poonch defeated Pulwama-A in an easy contest by (3-0) sets to seal berth in the finals, while in the second semifinals, SMSMVC after winning the two sets was leading in the third set when the Pulwama-B players smelt foul and complained against the referees, which forced the organizers to take a decision of replying the match tomorrow.
