RAMBAN, Mar 19: District Police Ramban organized a Volleyball Tournament under Civic Action Programme (CAP), here today.
Eight teams drawn from various parts of the district participated in the Tournament. Volleyball Club Gandhri won the tournament by defeating Kohitoor Maligam Volleyball Club, which remained runners-up.
Prominent citizens and district Police as well as civil officers witnessed the tournament.
Prominent among them were Randeep Kumar, Sr. Superintendent of Police, Ramban, Narinder Singh Parihar, DySP Hqrs Ramban, Principal, HSS Ramban, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Ramban, Principal, Polytechnic College Ramban and District Information Officer and Ramban.
Randeep Kumar, SSP Ramban while addressing the gathering motivated youth to take active part in games and sports and say no to drugs.
He also assured that such types of events will be organized in future for tapping talent in district Ramban and providing them new avenues to outshine.
