POONCH, Aug 3: District Poonch Wushu Championship organized by District Poonch Wushu Association under the aegis of Wushu Association of Jammu and Kashmir and supported by Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council commenced here today.
120 young Wushu players from different clubs and institutions of the district are going to participate in this event. Nirdosh Kumar, In-charge Manager Sports Stadium Poonch was chief guest on this occasion.
Arshit Singh, Christ School Degwar, Mohd Irfan, GMS Khorinar, Varenyam Sharma, Christ School Degwar ,Mohd Firsose, Mohd Sarfraz, Mohd Arfan of GMS, Khorinar won gold medals in today’s matches while Izlan Khawaja, Zeeshan Farooq, Farhan Ahmed, Rananjay Gupta of Christ School Degwar won silver medals.
