REASI, Oct 27: Two days District Reasi Judo Championship concluded at Kidzee School, here today.
About 100 Judokas from different schools participated in the championship.
Prem Singh Chib was the chief guest on the opening ceremony, while Vikas Gupta General Secretary J&K Judo Association, former Joint Secretary JFI was the chief guest on the closing ceremony, while Ashwani Katoch, Gule Surkhab and Shiv Kumar were the guest of honour. Prominent among others present on the occasion were Ajay Sharma, Rattan Singh and Kushbu Hira.
Manish Chatwal was the Organising Secretary of the Championship, which is being organized by J&K Judo Association under the aegis of J&K State Sports Council.
Gold medal winners included Wajahat, Ankit, Vansh Singh, Mukhtar, Aakansh Lengeh, Mukesh, Chander Deep, Aseer, Omar Nazir, Mannan, Sukaran, Sehaj, Ayushi, Dhwani, Deepika, Fiza, Mohd Iqbal, Dheeraj, Balwan, Rakshit, Anaaya , Swara and Akshra, while the silver medals went to Shahid, Dheeraj, Aman Singh, Shahzaib, Aradhya Sharma, Mohan, Sakib Raja, Azean, Baavan, Nirbhay, Aarav Aswal, Yogita, Bhavya, Siona, Suhana, Tanshika, Tanish, Aadish, Sarvagya, Manya, Gunjana and Aarvi, while the bronze medal were bagged by Arnav Prasher, Angad, Ashish, Sidharth, Bilal, Aftab, Imran, Saksham, Saksham, Pranav, Hardik, Ayaan, Aarav, Ajay, Zehran, Aarav, Prajal, Yuvraj, Swayam, Sanidhya, Aditya, Aarav, Grima, Sunakshi, Babita, Manvi, Madhu, Mannu, Chashika, Anaaya, Shivani and Somya.
