REASI, Sept 29: Two days Reasi District Judo Championship, organised by Judo Association of Jammu & Kashmir under the aegis of J&K Sports Council and J&K Olympic Association in collaboration with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Katra, concluded at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Stadium Katra, here today.
About 100 Judokas all over District participated in the championship.
Dr Sunil Sharma (KAS) Deputy CEO, SMVDSB Katra was the chief guest of the closing ceremony, whereas Ashwani Katoch chairman Amba Kids Home School Panthal was the guest of honour and Rakesh Kumar paraolympian was the special guest on the occasion.
The bouts were officiated by Danish Sharma (NIS) Judo coach SMVD Katra and Manish Chatwal (Black Belt) Judo Instructor.
Kapil Singh, Sanjeevan Singh, Sonali Bhagat, Mukesh, Vivesh, Sunil kumar, Vishwas, Nitin, Madhav Singh, Yogita, Saneha, Simran, Fiza, Muskan, Kapil Singh, Sanjeevan, Vishwapartap Singh, Shivam, Vansh, Manik Sharma, Aftab and Naresh were among who clinched Gold medals, whereas Silver medals were secured by Akhsra, Meenakshi, Madhubala, Manvi, Luxmi, Bhawani, Atul, Ankit, Abhi Verma, Akarshit, BP Singh, Vishal, Anil Singh, Amit Kumar, Gourav and Abhey.
The Bronze medals were won by Sheaj, Priya, Sahil, Vansh Sahil, Kanhaiya, Adhi Verma, Aditya, Ajay, Danish, Amit and Shubam.
