SAMBA, Nov 13: The District Samba Taekwondo Championships 2024-25 concluded at the Indoor Sports Stadium here today, with a lively closing ceremony.
Organized by the Taekwondo Association of District Samba under the J&K Taekwondo Association and J&K Sports Council, the event saw enthusiastic participation from athletes across the district.
The ceremony was graced by Rajesh Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Samba, as chief guest, along with Vinay Kumar, SSP Samba, and Atul Pangotra, International Taekwondo Coach, as guests of honour. Special guests included Rajesh Khajuria, Vice President of TADS; Dr Harit Attri; Mohit Sharma; and Arshi, Judo Coach from Samba, among others.
The event was led by Rajesh Pangotra, President of the Taekwondo Association of District Samba, and Dr. Kanav Mahajan, Secretary. Burhan Ud Din Khan, NIS Taekwondo Coach, served as Observer.
The championship medalists will now represent district Samba at the 27th J&K UT Taekwondo Championships 2024-25, aiming to compete at the state level.
