SRINAGAR, Aug 28: Showing superb soccer skills and motor-ability, young footballers of District Srinagar thrashed their rivals by convincing margins and dominated the State Level Inter-District Football Tournament, being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at various venues, here.
Earlier, at Polo Ground, Srinagar blanked Kathua by a huge margin of eleven goals (11-0), while in another match, Srinagar thrashed Udhampur by eight goals to nil (8-0).
In another match at Bakshi Stadium, Budgam got better of Ganderbal by (2-0), while in another match at the same venue, Budgam trounced Poonch by two goals to nil (2-0).
At Kashmir University, Udhampur blanked Doda by six goals to nil (6-0), while in another match at the same venue, Bandipora held Jammu to (0-0) draw.
