RAMBAN, Dec 11: The 3rd District Ramban Taekwondo Championship, organised by the District Association, concluded at Hotel Maple, here today.
The championship was held under the supervision of Danish Manzoor (International Taekwondo Athlete/ Fit India Ambassador), who was appointed as observer by J&K Taekwondo Association for this event.
The final day witnessed a massive combative skill show between the senior and junior athlete’s in both male and female categories.
The chief guest of the closing ceremony was Haji Sajad Shaheen (District President, JKNC Ramban). He was accompanied by Mohd Taskeen Wani as guest of honour.
The chief guest congratulated all the medallists and participants for taking part in the said championship and distributed medals among medallists.
Special guests on the occasion were Mufti Khursheed Alam, Mohd Tazeem Wani, Prof. Bahar Ahmad Mir, Arvind Satti, Mohd Saleem Bhat, Zakir Ahmad Wani, Kaiser Hamid Sheikh, Muzzafar Ahmad Wani and Mohsin Rafiq Wani (Treasurer, DRTA).
