JASROTA, Nov 24: District Volleyball Association and Bakhta Raising Club here today organized a Volleyball Tournament at village Bakhta.
MLA Jasrota, Rajiv Jasrotia was chief guest on the occasion.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Shiv Kumar Chouhan, Sapranch Pinki Devi, Madan Lal, president Volleyball Association, Harmeet Singh, Sarpanch Randeep Singh, Sarpanch Shivdev Singh, Gyan Singh, Govind Singh, Rashpaul Singh, Lucky Sharma, Panch Chunni Lal, Rajinder and prominent persons of the area. Speaking on the occasion, Jasrotia said that a good way to combat stress is to take a break from daily chores and indulge in sports and games.
In final match, Upper Mela team triumphed over Team Garha.
The championship featured a total of three teams with all teams showcasing their talent and competitive spirit.
Prizes including trophies, medals and sports kits were awarded to the winning and runner-up teams by MLA Jasrotia.
