JAMMU, July 29: The 39th Jammu District Badminton Championship is being organized by Jammu City & District Badminton Association from August 3 to 7 at Badminton Hall, MA Stadium, here.
More than 150 players from Jammu district are expected to participate in the Championship, which is being organized under the auspices of Badminton Association of J&K in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
The matches that will be played during the Championship include Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles in Men/Women category, Singles & Doubles in Junior Under-19 Boys/Girls, Singles & Doubles in Sub Junior Under 13/15 & 17 Boys/Girls, and Singles in Mini Under-11 Boys/ Girls category.
The interesting players are required to register their names before the last date to Touseef Ahmad (SAI, Badminton Coach), Vikram Saini (SAI, Badminton Coach), Divum Gupta (Khelo India Coach) and Sukhdev Singh (Incharge, Police Line Badminton Hall, Jammu).
