JAMMU, Oct 30: NIS Club team defeated Parivartan Club by 4 points in the men’s finals of the District Kho-Kho Championship, while PG Club trounced NIS Club by 3 points in women’s category, here today.
The chief guest of the event was Kuldeep Gupta, while Trilok Singh was guest of honour and Manmeet Singh was the special guest. They distributed medals to the winning and runner up teams.
SBS Tirthi, former treasurer KKFI, Rajesh Dutta secretary Body Building Association, Pankaj Malhotra and Tarmeet Shenu were also present during the closing ceremony.
The matches were officiated by Ajay Gupta, Dheeraj Sharma, Amrinder Pal Singh, Santosh Kumar, Sahil Dev, Palbinder Singh and Jagdev Singh.
In the semi-finals, Parivartan won by 6 points from SAI Club (20-14), while NIS CLUB defeated NIS Junior by 5 points (10-5).
