Udhampur, Oct 7: Divisional Level Inter District Basketball competition for girl’s Under-19 years of age, held at Army Public School ground concluded here today.
On the closing ceremony Chief Education Officer Udhampur, Geetu Bangotra was chief guest while DYSSO Udhampur, Romesh Chander Mishra also presided over the function.
The results were Kathua district emerged winner by defeating Samba district by 14-5 to enter in the final while in the final match; Jammu district emerged victorious by defeating Kathua district with an impressive score of 20-14.
The matches throughout the tournament were officiated by a dedicated team of referees including Sanjay Sharma, Manik Nargotra, Ranbir Singh, Ishang Bandral, Deepak Sharma, Sourab Pandit, Jyoti Sharma, Vineet Kumar and Rajesh Bamdral (selector).
