Divyang students excel in middle class exam

JAMMU, May 12: All the eight deaf and dumb students of the School Hearing Handicapped Shaheedi Chowk got distinction in the middle class result declared by the Board of School Education.
This is for the first time that all the students passed the middle class examination with distinction which is a very creditable achievement of the School, run by NGO J&K Samaj Kalyan Kendra, Jammu (SKK).
Sudha Choudhary topped the School by securing 185 marks out of 200 with 9.6 Cumulative Grade Point (CGP), followed by Koustab Singh with 9.4 CGP and 179 marks. Sudha has been recommended for financial assistance for studies by a foreign NGO.
The president of the SKK, KB Jandial and School management commended the efforts of the Divyang students in excelling in the Board exam.
