DKD, HSG to holds 100 marathons in J&K

JAMMU, Apr 22: Dogra Kranti Dal (DKD) and Hindustan Scouts and Guides (HSG) to organize 100 marathons in Jammu and Kashmir on the completion of 100th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’.
This was disclosed by Garish Juyal, national general secretary of Hindustan Scouts and Guides while addressing the press conference at Press Club Jammu, today.
Juyal further said that the organization will intensify its activities in Jammu and Kashmir to inculcate patriotism and social responsibility among the youth and mentioned various achievements of the Hindustan Scouts & Guides since its formation in 1906 till date.
He said that Balwant Singh Mankotia, former MLA was appointed as president of Jammu and Kashmir and for the first time, these types of activities are being organized in collaboration with Dogra Kranti Dal (NGO) and Main Kashmir Road Safety Foundation.
These marathons will be organized on April 30 against the drug menace and it will be dedicated to Prime Minister’s Fit India Movement, Garish Juyal said.
Prominent persons including Professor Bacha Babu, Dr. Dilip Kumar, Vanita Sharma, Secretary Gunjan Sharma, Joint Secretary Sushil Chandel and Rajesh Pandoh were present during the occasion.
