JAMMU, Oct 13: Search operation against the militants in Dera Ki Gali (DKG) forests in the twin border districts of Rajouri and Poonch today entered third day but the militants remained untraced.
DIG Rajouri-Poonch range Vivek Gupta told the Excelsior that no fresh contact was established with the militants today.
“The operation against the militants is going to take some more time,” Gupta said.
Five Army soldiers including a JCO were martyred in brief encounter with the militants on Monday morning. Since then, the Army, CRPF and Police have launched massive searches in the forests of DKG.
