UDHAMPUR, Nov 21: Employment Information Cum Advisory Bureau, Department of Lifelong Learning, University of Jammu, in collaboration with PG Department of English, Govern-ment Degree College, Udhampur, organized one day Counselling programme on “Career perspectives after PG in English” here today.
Prof. Monika Sethi and Dr Sadaf Shah, both from Department of English, JU, were invited as special resource persons, who made the students aware about the career avenues for them in English in the near future apart from traditional options.
About 70 students of the college attended the programme. Besides students, S K Magotra, Principal of the College, Prof Kamaldeep Kour, Prof Sanjay Kumar and Prof Rakesh Sharma were also present in the programme.
Formal vote of thanks was given by Prof Anuradha Kalsi. The programme was conducted by Dr Shubra Jamwal and Dr Rippy Bawa. It was coordinated by Dr Rewa Khajuria, Counsellor, EIAB, DLL, JU.
