Doda girl to interact with scientists at NASA

JAMMU, DEC 7:  Tanisha, a Class 10th student from Wani, a remote village in Assar block of Doda district, is reaching National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) tomorrow to participate in two-week interaction programme. She left for USA from New Delhi last night.
A student of residential school Dalhousie, Tanisha is part of the group of students, who have been selected by the Kennedy Space Centre to interact with the space scientists at NASA. Besides participating in a workshop and witnessing various scientific experiments, she will be visiting Washington, New York, Florida and various other places during her visit to USA. This is her second visit to NASA in the past one year.
Tanisha, who has appeared in the 10th Class CBSE Examination, was the Head Girl of the School for 2012 and was also awarded Best Student of the Year Award.
