SAMBA, Dec 23: Dogra Law College concluded its two day long Annual Sports Meet here today.
Abhishek Sharma, Vice President of the Student Council, welcomed participants in a variety of sports, including badminton, chess, carrom, volleyball and tug of war.
Gulchain Singh Charak, former Minister, President Dogra Sadar Sabha and Chairman, Dogra Educational Trust, Dr Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Sports and Physical Education at the University of Jammu was present there as chief guest.
Gulchain Singh Charak commended the students for their sportsmanship and praised the state-of-the-art shooting range at the college. He advocated for promoting sports in educational institutions to enhance our sports performance at the international level and praised the efforts made by Dogra Law College in this direction. In the prize distribution ceremony where dignitaries honoured the winners with trophies, medals, and certificates, recognizing their dedication and sportsmanship which was organized under the guidance of Principal, Avdhesh Pratap, Sports Coordinator, Sawal and Gulshan Kumar and the members of sports committee.
