JAMMU, May 6: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders and party sympathizers handed over contribution worth Rs 22 lakh to party’s J&K president Ravinder Raina for donation to PM CARES Fund at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, on separate occasions.
From Arnia Mandal in Bishnah Constituency, former MLA Ashwani Kumar along with other senior leaders handed over contribution of Rs 11 lakh to Ravinder Raina while from Udhampur Mandal, Pawan Khajuria handed over contributions worth Rs 5 lakh, out of which Mandal president Vivek Gupta, Councillors Rahul Gupta, Aditya Paroch, Rakesh Khajuria and Sanjay Verma handed over Rs 2.5 lakh to Raina.
Brick Kiln Association handed over another contribution of Rs 5.5 lakh J&K BJP president while leaders from Kashmir Displaced District handed over contribution of Rs 18,100 to Ravinder Raina.
To supplement the efforts of the Government to prevent COVID-19 pandemic, Santan Dharam Development Trust (SDDT), Rajgrah (Ramban) donated a sum of Rs 11,000 to PM CARES Fund. President of the trust, Ashok Kumar handed over the bank cheque of the donation amount to Tehsildar Rajgarh Omi Raj Sombria.
