Jammu, Sept 1: Doon International School has once again come forward for supporting the elderly people of the state as the management,students and staff collected and contributed a generous amount of Rs 71,000 to HelpAge India supporting this noble cause of providing a safe and secure environment to the elderly people. Chairman, G.N. Tantray applauded the efforts of the students in collecting such a huge amount for this noble cause and displaying a positive attitude towards the service of the society.
The cheque for the same was handed over to the State manager SunitaSantoshi by the Principal Vikesh Kaur. She promised an unconditional support from DIS Family to HelpAge India for their amazing contribution to the society and appreciated the efforts of the organisation for inspiring the tender minds of the children to become the real contributors of the society.
