SRINAGAR, Dec 3: Downtown Heroes FC lifted Doon International Football title, played at Doon International School HMT, here today.
In the final, Downtown Heroes FC was against Real Baghat FC. Downtown Heroes dominated their opponents as they emerged winner by 3-0 goals.
In first half, the Downtown Heroes FC scored two goals and at halftime was leading by 2-0 goals. In second half, Downtown Heroes FC scored one more goal to secure the title.
Momin, Aquib and Shakir were the scorers for Downtown Heroes FC wherein Aquib Mushtaq was awarded with player of the match award.
At the concluding ceremony, J&K Football Association general secretary, Prof Bashir, District Football Association Srinagar, president Fayaz Sofi, former international footballer, Abdul Majeed Kakroo were guests of the event and they distributed prizes among the winners.
The tournament was organised by Doon International School Srinagar wherein 30 teams participated.
