JAMMU, Sept 26: Continuing his door to door campaign, DPAP candidate from Jammu North Assembly constituency Advocate Maheshwar Singh Manhas today assured the people that he will leave no stone unturned to get the residential colonies regularized.
“I will fight for regularization of colonies like Bhawani Nagar, Lakkar Mandi, New Janipur Colony, Shant Nagar, parts of Paloura and conferment of ownership rights, if voted to power”, he said while interacting with the people along with his supporters during the door to door campaign, adding “the people of these areas have been running from pillar to post for regularization of their colonies but those who remained in power and contesting elections from this constituency never bothered to project people’s grievances at the appropriate forum”.
He also criticized the Government for total failure in providing job opportunities to the educated youth and promised to raise this issue at every forum. “I being the son of the soil knows all of our problems and difficulties and if elected I will become your voice and solve problems”, he added.
He appealed the people to extend full support to him by pressing button of bucket on the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).
