DPP urges EC to check violations by political parties

JAMMU, Dec 1: President of Duggar Pradesh Party (DPP) Uday Chand and candidate from Jammu West Assembly segment urged the Central Observers of Election Commission to check the violations especially by the parties in power which includes BJP, Congress and NC.
He accused PDP and BJP for open violation of instructions and guidelines of Election Commission especially restrictions on processions during filing of nomination papers, use of vehicles, use of public address system and beating of drums.
Uday Chand said this, while addressing party workers after filing nomination papers.
He said these two parties led by their candidates made anarchy in the city and created traffic jams, noise pollution especially in Janipur area and made the public life a hell for continuously two hours.
He added the district administration was seen watching helplessly and these two parties both posing before the people as power brokers made the mockery of the law and order and public life.
Among others present were Mohan Singh, secretary general, Inder Pal Singh, general secretary, Ram Singh, secretary, Gurminder Pal Singh and Om Prakash Sharma.
