JAMMU, Feb 7: To develop communication and interactive skills among the students, Delhi Public School (DPS) organized Hindi Poetry Recitation Competition for Pre-Primary Wing, here today.
The students from Prep participated in a large number and recited their poems in an impressive manner.
Pavani Sharma and Shaunish Vaid bagged first place, while Kavanvir Kour and Zooni Fatima clinched second spot and the third place went to Shaurya Sharma and Aryan Bhola.
Additional Director DPS, Dr D Joseph lauded the efforts of the students and distributed prizes among the winners. She said that such activities play an important role in overall development and confidence building of children.
Headmistress, Ruchi Chabra, Coordinator Preeti Abrol, Ritu Vir and Seema Tuli were present during the competition.
